Michael E Hedrick

Born June 23, 1956 in Watseka to Thomas W. and Marie (Wofford) Hedrick, Jr. he married Rachel Starlene Sutterfield on November 6, 1976 in Pekin. She survives.

Also surviving are his mother, Marie Hedrick of Pekin; three sons, Micheal James Hedrick, Matthew (Roberta) Hedrick and Loy Hedrick, all of Seffner, FL; two daughters, Dariel Hedrick and Larissa Hedrick, both of Seffner, FL; two grandsons, Alexander and A.J.; four granddaughters, Lauren, Katelyn, Gabby and Kylin; one sister, Linda (Gary) Williams of Pekin and two brothers, Jerry (Sharon) Hedrick of East Peoria and Carl Hedrick of North Pekin.

He was preceded in death by his father on March 23, 2015 in Pekin; one daughter, Letitia Hedrick in June of 1987 and one sister, Brenda Hedrick.

He was a 1974 graduate of Pekin Community High School.

He was an automobile technician for Ed Morse Cadillac in Tampa, FL.

He was a member of River of Life Christian Center in Riverview, Florida, where he was an usher, Christian Education Leader and Board Advisor.

His funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. The Rev. Chuck Grogan will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral. Cremation will be accorded following the funeral.
