Born September 29, 1974 in Peoria to Raymond D. and Marcella J (Bull) Taylor, she married Joseph Key in 1992 in Pekin. He survives.
Also surviving are her three sons, Austin Key and Joshua Key, both of Pekin, and Brandon Key of Peoria; six siblings, Jimmy (Kim) Taylor and Chris (Rose) Taylor, both of Peoria, Penny (Kevin) M. and Pam (Bobby) M., both of California, Randy (Christine) of Virginia and Roger Horton of Virginia; and one sister in law, Gloria Taylor of East Peoria.
Michelle was a sterilization processor at Carle Health Proctor Hospital in Peoria, last working in 2021.
She enjoyed watching movies and spending time with her family.
There will be no services at this time. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
