Monia L Camp

She was born March 21, 1979 in Peoria to Steven Ramone and Sharon Denette (Connor) Camp.

Surviving are her parents of Creve Coeur; one brother, Kristopher C. "Coco" Camp of Creve Coeur; one half-sister, Stephanie Huston of Pekin; two nephews, Jason Huston and Rylee Huston, both of Pekin; grandmothers, Ella M. Connor of Creve Coeur and Betty L. Camp of Farmington; and many aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by one infant sister (Christina M. Camp in 1977), one brother (Jesse C.B. Camp in 1988), and her grandfathers (Clyde D. Connor and Floyd Camp).

Monia enjoyed listening to music, watching television, dancing, and collecting fairies. She had participated in the Big Brother/Big Sister program and her big sister was Janet Albertson.

She was a member of the Creve Coeur Christian Church and AA in Ripley, West Virginia.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2007at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Creve Coeur Chapel, where visitation will be one hour before the funeral. The Rev. John E. Plunkett will officiate. Cremation will be accorded following the funeral.
