

She was born October 1, 1928 in Bardwell, Kentucky to John Richard and Mattie Mae Carter Wyman.
Surviving are one daughter, Debra (Ronald) Sandifer of Wickliffe, Ohio; two grandsons, Jason M. Sandifer of Willoughby, Ohio and Shawn R. (Patsy) Sandifer of South Hill, Virginia; two great-grandchildren; two special children, whom she raised for 13 years, Stephanie Komen of Washington, D.C. and Scott Komen of Florida; three sisters, Glenda (Mel) Reed of Marquette Heights, Shirley Holgerson of Morrow, Georgia, and Patricia Carlton of Kewanee; three brothers, Charles (Ann) Wyman of Peoria, Larry "Bud" (Janice) Wyman of Georgia, and Bobby Wyman.
She was preceded in death by four brothers; two sisters; and a foster daughter, Jean Welsh.
Nana had worked as a cook, housekeeper, nanny, and care giver.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Marquette Heights.
She enjoyed crocheting and crossword puzzles.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 31, 2005at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. The Rev. Kenneth Klein will officiate. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, October 30, 2005at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Pekin.
