Nancy "Nonnie" Darlene Munson

Born July 9, 1940 in Pekin to Peter and Selma Juanita (Montgomery) Burke, she married Robert Michael Munson on May 23, 1959. He survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Christine (Aaron) Stein of Pekin; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Stein, Kathryn (Seth) Parker and Alexander (Samantha) Stein; three great-grandchild, Allison and Jaide Stein and Sorren Parker; one sister, Donna Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Lynn Munson.

A homemaker, Nancy always took on the role of caregiver. She was devoted to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. They meant the world to her and she meant the world to them. Nonnie was a caring, compassionate woman who loved unconditionally. She enjoyed crafting, quilting and crocheting.

Nancy never wanted anyone to worry about her. She wants everyone to know she is fine.

Her celebration of life will be held 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.

Private burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
