
Born February 10, 1935 in Hackleburg, Alabama to Roy and Eva (Cole) Osborn, she married Kenneth Charles “Chuck” Goodwin on September 11, 1956 in Pekin. He died May 21, 2008 in Pekin. She was also preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.
Surviving are five children, Roy (Cathy Fedawa) Goodwin of Pekin, Deborah (Joe) Oberheizer and Eva Cookson, both of Peoria, Deanna Gail (Marion) Driver of Pekin, and Kenneth C. Goodwin, II of Aurora, Colorado; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Albert Osborn of Alabama and Cleveland (Edith June) Osborn of South Pekin; and one sister, Mary Ann Grannelman of Peoria.
Nina had worked at Foster & Gallagher in Peoria and later for Sears in Peoria. She last worked for Hallmark Card Company taking care of the card display at the Pekin Kmart for several years.
She was a member of Pekin Church of Christ.
Nina enjoyed making silk flower arrangements, and playing cards and games with her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Pekin Church of Christ, 1451 Valle Vista Blvd. in Pekin, where visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. prior to the service. Evangelist Paul Thomas will officiate.
