

Born September 12, 1932 in Albion to Carmon and Pearl (Stennett) Cullison, she married Marion “Mike” Dever on April 13, 1963 in Bartonville.
Surviving are two sons, Rickie C. Knight of Higgins, Texas and Greggory (Lisa) Knight of Pekin; two daughters, Lisa Lairson of Pekin and Andrea (James) Randall of Sanford, Florida; eleven grandchildren, Stephanie (Bill) Menininger and Renay Kennedy, both of Seven Points, Texas, Charisa (Clint) Baumgartner of Higgins, Texas; Megan Sloter, Ashly Britton, Justice (Jenna) Knight, Kyle (Shani) Womeldorff, Karmin (Donald) Grant, Andrea (David) Kellum, all of Pekin, Misty Randall of Tampa, Florida, and Jefferson Randall of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; fifteen great-grandchildren, Trevor Menininger, Katie Menininger, Anthony Leon, Haley Canales, Brenden Elango, Michael Elango, Dallas Simon, Myla Simon, Dillan Womeldorff, Devon Womeldorff, Amie (Jarod) Danz, Keyara Grant, Makayla Grant, David Kellum, and Andrew Kellum; one great-great-grandson, Brandon Mitchell Danz; three step-daughters, Christine Skelton of Adrian, North Dakota, Susan Dever of Canton, Julie (David) Atchison of Ozark, Missouri; one step-son, Noel “Mike” (Sue) Dever of Mapleton; eleven step-grandchildren, Alan Busby of Pekin, Amy Busby of Jacksonville, Florida, Tiffany Skelton and Rachael (Chris) Wolfe, both of Pekin, Michael H. Dever of Champaign, Samuel Dever of Mapleton, and Danielle Atchison, Stefanie (Brian) Stoneking, Theodore Atchison, Fredrick Atchison, and Noah Atchison, all of Ozark, Missouri; and six step-great-grandchildren, Andrew Wolfe, Emma Wolfe, Owen Wolfe, Avery Wolfe, Peyton Stoneking, and Landon Atchison; one brother, Dale (Sue) Cullison of Albion; and one sister, Lenore Beadles of Albion.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Christopher Womeldorff; one step-son, Patrick M. Dever; three step-grandchildren, Adrian Skelton, Jill Wilson, and Sally Wilson; and two step-great-grandsons.
Faye worked at Peoria State Hospital in Bartonville for 15 years until its closing, last working as a mental health supervisor. She later worked as a CNA at Hallmark House Nursing Center in Pekin.
She was a member of New Testament Missionary Baptist Church in Pekin.
Faye enjoyed reading, quilting, gardening, and flowers. She loved taking care of kids and always went out of her way to take care of her family. She was a Saint Louis Cardinal’s baseball fan.
Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2012 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodrow Cemetery in rural Pekin.
