

Born January 5, 1952 in Danville to Guy and Florence "Janet" (Tobin) Ewing, he married Lucinda "Cindy" Tucker on April 2, 1977 in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother of Pekin; Mia and Annie, both of Peoria; one sister, Kathleen (Dick) Bouris of El Paso; one brother, Scott (Adriane) Ewing of Pekin; three nephews, Keith Ewing and Josh Ewing, both of Pekin and Bradley (Kelly) Bouris of Washington.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Norman received a B.S. degree in 1974 and an M.B.A. degree in 1996, both from Bradley University in Peoria.
He had worked for Caterpillar, Inc. as a Senior IT Analyst and in the accounting dept., retiring in 2012 after 38 years.
Norman was the past president and current Vice President of Heart of IL Chapter of Better Investing, past president of Heart of IL Chapter of National Association of Investment Club, Co-Founder of I.S. Marketears, and an officer for the Heart of IL Sierra Club.
He was an avid Bradley Basketball fan and a St. Louis Rams football fan, a Peoria Rivermen season ticket holder, a Biddy Basketball coach, a Little League Baseball coach. He was also a world traveler and a devoted pet lover.
His memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2012 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
