

She was born August 16, 1968 in Pekin to Brenda Faye Bowman and Danny Allen Durbin.
Surviving are her husband, Larry Williams; her father and stepmother, Danny and Diana Durbin of Pekin; one daughter, Maria Faye (Frank) Vance of Petersburg; one son, Steven Vance of Mason City; one half-brother, Duane Allen Durbin of Pekin; two half-sisters, Tina Marie Williams of Canton and Danielle Lynnette (Josh) Hamilton of Pekin.and one step-daughter, Casey Lynn Williams of Pekin. She also leaves her aunt, whom she was raised with and was more like a sister, Diana “Diane” Higgs of Pekin; two uncles, John L. (Stephanie) Bowman and Larry E. (Cathy) Bowman, both of Pekinand her caretaker and companion, George Higdon of Marinette, Wisconsin and his two children, George and Elizabeth Higdon.
She was preceded in death by her mother and her grandparents that helped raise her, John S. and Virginia Bowman.
Patty loved crafts, crocheting and working puzzles. She was energetic, was known to be ornery and will be remembered as a precious soul.
A homemaker, Patty fought a long and hard battle with ALS. The family would like to thank the Wisconsin Chapter of ALS for their care and support.
Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. The Rev. W. Lloyd Brock will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
