Patricia I Doman

Born April 11, 1943 in Peoria to Sterling and Mildred (Schoon) Porter, she married Elmer Charles "Chuck" Doman of February 2, 1979 in Pekin. He survives.

Also surviving are one son, Robert E. (Theresa) Penson of Topeka; one daughter, Julie J. (Tim) Darling of Forest City; two step-sons, Nathan H. (Kristy) Doman of Pekin and Elmer Charles Doman, Jr. of Pekin; two step-daughters, Melissa S. Lee and Dawn M. Lamb, both of Pekin; eighteen grandchildrenand one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one great-grandson, Trent Lee Doman; one brother and one sister.

She was a homemaker.

She had a great love for children and horses. She enjoyed boating, fishing, camping, hunting and her trips to Branson. She was a former member of the Pekin Riding Club.

She was of the Christian faith.

Her memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, November 25, 2006at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. The Rev. W. Lloyd Brock will officiate. Cremation will be accorded.
