Paul E Watson

Born January 7, 1928 in Crittenden County, Kentucky to Coy D. and Margaret W. (McKinney) Watson, he married Lois A. Moore on September 10, 1950 in Corinth, Mississippi. She survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Vickie A. (James) Callas of Peoria; one son, Gregory A. Watson of Peoria; five grandchildren, Erin (Will) Lafreniere of Surprise, Arizona, Jenna Watson of Peoria, Taylor Watson, Wesley Watson and Colin Watson, all of East Peoria and two sisters, Margaret (Paul) Binkley and Martha "Tootsie" (Donald) Beavers of Marion, Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Darla K. Watson on December 28, 1968 in Peoria and one infant granddaughter, Miranda Watson.

He was a World War II Army Air Forces veteran and attained the rank of Sergeant.

Paul retired from Caterpillar, Inc. with 37 years of service, last working as a machinist in Building KK in East Peoria.

His graveside funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2007at Fon du Lac Cemetery in East Peoria. The Rev. David Lynn will officiate. There will be no visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Creve Coeur Chapel.
