

Born December 18, 1952 in Pekin to Luther Tomen and Irma Lee (Watson) White, she married Bruce Bair on February 14, 2011 in Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Nathan (Jenny) Chronister of Farmington and Chad Lewis of Peoria; two daughters, Nicole (Trent) Johnson of Pekin and Stephanie Wehrenberg of Browerville, Minnesota; eight grandchildren, Jonah, Alissa and Logan Chronister, Erika Johnson, Rylee (Austin) Moberly and Ronnie Johnson and Casey and Travis; three sisters, Chris (Jeff) Carlyle and Teresa Foster, both of Farmington and Michelle Simon of Pekin and one brother, Gene (Beth) White of Farmington.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Lyle White and her son-in-law, Ralph Wehrenberg.
Paula last worked at Limestone Community High School as a custodian retiring in 2013. She spent most of her career working a waitress at Ernie’s in Pekin and The Dining Car in South Pekin.
She enjoyed cooking, reading, listening to music, especially Christian Contemporary and attending concerts. Paula was a social butterfly and loved everyone she came in contact with. She also enjoyed playing golf.
Paula attended Bartonville Christian Church.
Her funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2022 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor SoeBeck Song and Pastor Shawn Lindsay will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Cremation will accorded following the service.
