Pearline McCall

She was born February 14, 1937 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Charlie and Willa Mae (Curry) Bailey. She married Walter Lee McCall in Peoria on October 4, 1965, he precedes her in death since 2019.

Surviving are four children; Dwane Bailey, Denise Bailey, Bradford McCall, and Darcy McCall, and three special children; Keith Walls, Michelle Citchen, and Michael Citchen.

She is also preceded in death by her parents, one daughter; Diane McCall, one granddaughter; Saray Jones, and three sons; Ruben Bailey, Dennis Bailey Sr., and Ray Bailey. She leaves behind a legacy of seventeen grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Pearline was a devoted member of her church, Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Peoria, and her faith was what she intentionally represented each day of her life. Before anything else, she enjoyed her family gathering and being together. She also enjoyed cooking, listening to music, watching her sports- the Chicago Bulls and Chicago Cubs being her favorites. One of her greatest wishes was for her family to continue her mission of supporting and loving one another.

A funeral will be held Friday, March 27, 2026 at 12 p.m. at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home Pekin Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior, at the funeral home.
