

Born February 9, 1924 in Fulton County to Fantley Roy and Myrtle (Adkins) Paul, he married Melba Shepard on November 20, 1944 in Lewistown. She died in June 2003 in Pekin.
Also surviving are three daughters, Peggy (William) Pawson of Havana, Connie Miley of Creve Coeur and Cathy (Rod) Borgmann of Pekin; two sons, Allen (Mary Paul and Danny Paul, both of Hoboken, Georgia; eighteen grandchildren; forty-one great-grandchildren; one brother, Lawrence (Laura) Paul of West Liberty, Iowa; and two sisters, Leatha Marten of Chestnut and Mildred Wilson of Bushnell.
He also was preceded in death by his parents and twelve brothers and sisters.
He was a World War II Navy veteran.
Ralph was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses North Congregation in Pekin.
He had worked at the TP & W Railroad in East Peoria as a mechanic from the early 70's to the late 80's.
His family will host a memorial service on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 3 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 1566 E. Ash Street Canton, IL 61520. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin is assisting family with arrangements.
