Randy R Nichols

He was born September16, 1990 in Peoria to Jeffrey Joe and Kelly Jean (Bargar) Nichols.

Surviving are his mother and step-father, Kelly and Brian Erps of Pekin; father and step-mother, Jeff and Shannon Nichols of Peoria; three brothers, Jake (Stephanie Ellul) Gill and Tristan Smith, both of Peoria and Nick Erps of Pekin; two sisters, Jacqueline (Jacob Hansen) Bridgmon of Springfield and Jessica Erps of Pekin; one nephew, Kaleb Hansen; grandparents, John and Sharon Bargar, Sandra and Donald Nelson, Geraldine and Bernard Riley, and Donald (Carol Johnson) Erps, all of Pekin, Lawrence and Marie Nichols of Florida, and Dennis and Glenna Gray of Bloomington; and his great-grandmother, Jeannette Gray of Morton.

He was preceded in death by an uncle, Randy Ray Nichols, who he was named after.

A 2009 graduate of Limestone High School in Bartonville, Randy was attending Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida, where he was majoring in Creative Writing.

Randy was working at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida as a henchman in Shrek 4-D. Previously, he worked at Caterpillar, Inc.

He attended The Cross Church in Windermere, Florida.

Randy enjoyed video games, electronics, writing, and telling jokes.

A service celebrating his life will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. The Rev. W. Lloyd Brock will officiate. Visitation will be from 2 to 3:45 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
