Born January 2, 1985 in Pekin to Michael and Jill (Holland) Allen, he married Kelly Thomas on April 17, 2004 in Washington.
Surviving are his daughter, Ashlyn Allen of Bloomington; mother, Jill Allen of Bloomington; father and step-mother, Michael (Jill) Allen of Pekin; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Holland of McLean; and 2 sisters, Jennifer (Chae) Hoskins of Peoria and Natalie Allen of Bloomington.
Ray was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and his maternal grandfather.
He had worked as a manager for Jimmy Johns from 2003-06.
Ray enjoyed music, playing his guitar and playing chess.
Cremation will be accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes and Crematory in Pekin, where a private Celebration of Life Gathering will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his daughter, Ashlyn Allen through an account which has been established in her name at Commerce Bank.
