Rhonda Lee Bowcott

Born September 24, 1952 in Helena, Montana to Ronald and Evelyn (Kringer) Gordon, she married Patrick “Pat” James Bowcott on December 28, 1991 in Peoria. He died August 10, 2010. She was also preceded in death by father; her step-father, Bill Barnes; one sister, Margie Stitz and one brother, Danny Gordon.

Surviving are two sons, Billy (Lilly) Gehring of Peoria and Gary (Michelle) Whitehurst of East Peoria; one daughter, Sarah (Kyle) Stonebock of Peoria; her mother, Evelyn Barnes of Pekin; three step-daughters, Jennifer (Ryan) Ossola of Peoria, Jodi Bowcott of Pekin and Judi Bowcott of Peoria; five grandchildren, Will, Birdie, Ava, Kyle and Tori; three sisters, Joann Stiles of Pekin, Barbara Bice of Manito and Viola Stiltz of Easton; one step-sister, Beverly Barnes of Louisiana and one step-brother, Paul Barnes of Illinois.

A homemaker, Rhonda enjoyed crafting, knitting, crocheting and playing bingo. She loved her dogs and birds and most fond of spending quality time with her family.

A gathering celebrating Rhonda’s life will be at a later date. Inurnment will be at Forest City Cemetery. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
