Ricki Myers, Sr.

Born December 30, 1955 in Pekin to Russell and Winifred (Mitchell) Myers, he married Tina Voyles on December 31, 1999 in Pekin.

Surviving are his wife; 2 sons, Ricki ( Darla) Myers of New Braunfels, Texas and Russell (Nikki) Myers of Joplin, Missouri; 1 daughter, Tina Renee (Tony) Myers of Joplin; 6 grandchildren, Cory, Courtney, Jenna, Anthony, Steven, and Sarah; his twin sister, Renee Bonk of Pekin; and 2 step-sons, Donald Voyles and Steven Mann, both of Pekin.

Ricki was preceded in death by his parents.

He served in the U.S. Army for 22 years.

He had worked in custodial and maintenance in many area restaurants and nursing homes.

An avid Chicago Cubs fan, he also enjoyed researching genealogy, watching movies and spending time with his family.

His visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m., Friday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. A graveside service will be at a later date in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
