

Born November 5, 1937 in Rockford to Robert Earl, Sr. and Anna Louella (Switzer) Clark, he married Judith Ann Goodin on February 21, 1962 in Pekin. She died December 17, 2007 in Manito. He also was preceded in death by one sister, Helen Ann Bedsoe.
Surviving are his mother, Anna Artz of Pekin; his father and stepmother, Robert and Terry Clark of Claremore, Oklahoma; two sons, John K. (Tammy) Clark of Pekin and Robert E, III (Tammy) Clark of Peoria; one daughter, Nancy A. (Michael) Wienands of Liberty, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one brother, Barry Clark of Claremore, Oklahoma. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Heserved in the United States Air Force from August 12, 1955 to February 21, 1958.Robert worked for Ag-Land FS, Inc. in South Pekin, retiring as the plant manager in 2002 with more than 25 years of service. He also had worked as a custodian at the Green Valley High School and 17 years at Caterpillar, Inc.
A former North Pekin resident, Robert worked as a police officer and as a volunteer fire fighter there.
Robert's passion was working on computers and he also formerly enjoyed talking on C.B. radios.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 25, 2008at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. The Rev. Ronald E. Little will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m.Friday, October 24, 2008at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, October 27, 2008at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin, with military rites accorded by the United States Air Forceand the Tazewell Military Rites Team.
