

Born June 10, 1960, in Peoria to, wooden nickel extraordinaire, Robert L. and Alice (Behm) Farden, Sr., he married a wee witch, Angela Rice on January 8, 1984, in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving is his mother, who was always willing to “rip his lips,” Alice Farden of Pekin; four children, the smart one, Felicia (Tim Siltman) Farden of Delavan, the sporty one, Cara (Donnie) Sill of Manito, the wildcard, Jessica (Shane) Stork of Pekin and the favorite, Colton (Kate) Farden of Delavan; a circus of grandchildren, Madisyn, Connor, Jaiden, Tucker, Ryker, Anni; one great-grandchild, Kyson; one brother, Rich (Lisa) Farden of Pekin; one sister, Kim (Jim) Pool of Manito and two nephews, Dustin and AJ.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Ronald Farden.
Bob had worked in sales at ValuCheck.
He enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting and drawing. Bob also enjoyed playing pool and darts. He was a fan of the Chicago Cubs and Dallas Cowboys. He would beat even Ken Jennings at Jeopardy.
A gathering celebrating Bob’s life and family sharing will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2026 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory. Please wear your Cubs or Cardinals finest. Be prepared to be heckled by Bob if you’re in red!
