Robert "Bob" Dean Ritchie

He was born on April 5, 1952 in Pekin, he was the son of Willard and Madeline (Hill) Ritchie.

Surviving are one son, Joseph “Joey” Ritchie of Pekin; three grandchildren, Marya Lee Ritchie, Bradien Robert Ritchie and Joseph “William” Tanner Ritchie, all of South Pekin and one brother, Donald Ritchie of Pekin.

He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings, Willard, Kevin, Brian, Cindy and Sandy Ritchie.

Bob worked as a warehouse manager for Wayne Dalton Door Company in East Peoria for over 20 years, retiring in 2022.

Bob was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

A wonderful grandfather and loving dad, Bob loved sports and was a huge fan of the Minnesota Vikings and the St. Louis Cardinals. He also enjoyed fishing.

His visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2024 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. There are no services. Military rites will be provided at 4 p.m. by the United States Air Force and the Tazewell Military Rites Team.

Memorial contributions may be given to Joseph Ritchie to assist with funeral costs.
