

Born June 7, 1962 in Peoria to Donald Edwin and Dorine Matilda (Martin) Landrith, he married Mary Beth Henderson on October 24, 1980 at San Jose. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Adam Dean Landrith of Pekin; one grandson, Adam Dean “AJ” (Willow Dale) Landrith Jr. of Pekin; two sisters, Brenda (Paul) Jobson of Chino Valley, Arizona and Donna (John) Henderson of Pekin; several nieces and nephews; and his cat companions.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Noah Ashton Landrith and one brother, Donald “Bud” Landrith.
Roger retired from the Laborer’s Local 231 in Pekin, where he worked out of for 8 years mostly working at Powerton Station. He previously had done roofing for many years and had worked for the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad in earlier years.
Roger loved fishing, gambling, and watching wrestling. He also enjoyed traveling, especially trips he took to Hawaii, Las Vegas, Florida and the Bahamas.
His memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Nathan Noyes will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Cremation has been accorded.
