Rosalene Mae Ritchie

Born August 23, 1933 in Pekin to Walter and Margaret (Woodley) Null, she married Gerald Richard Ritchie on March 24, 1952 in Green Valley. He died October 21, 2009 in Pekin. She was also preceded in death by her parents; eight brothers and one sister, Mary Miller.

Surviving are two sons, Bradley (Barbie Cors) Ritchie of Manito and Mark Ritchie of Pekin; one daughter, Debra Ritchie of Pekin; one granddaughter, Kaylee (Patrick) Schuermann of Southern Illinois; two great-granddaughters, Georgia and Stella Schuermann and three brothers, Marlyn Null, Raymond Null and Richard Null, all of Pekin.

A homemaker, Rosalene enjoyed quilting, singing with the Sweet Adeline’s and spending time with her family.

She was a longtime member of Spring Lake Missionary Church in rural Manito.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, February 25, 2022 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Dale Burks will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
