Ryan C Spencer

He was born December 24, 1991 in Pekin to Steven and Kristine (Mancuso) Spencer.

Surviving are his parents of Campinas, Brazil; two brothers, Andrew (Jamie) Baxter of Peoria and Christopher Spencer of Campinas, Brazil; one sister, Erica Spencer of Creve Coeur; grandparents, Terry and Georgia Mancuso of Cary, North Carolina, Judy Spencer of Pekin and Richard Spencer of Beardstown; three nephews; a large extended family; and his Great Dane, Jack.

Ryan was a 2010 graduate of Morton High School.  When he was in Morton Junior High School, Ryan was the science student of the year for his eighth grade class.   He played for the Morton High School football team, Morton JFL and Pekin JFL.

He loved cooking, reading, music and was a great storyteller.

His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2011 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.  His grandfather, Rev. Terry Mancuso will officiate.  Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
