Sam R. Dantone

He was born in Peoria, March 10, 1948 in Peoria the son of Sam and Dorothy Buell Dantone. He married Janelle McKeown in 1978.

Sam is survived by his wife of thirty-nine years; two children, Brandi Dantone of Columbia, TN, and Sam R. Dantone Jr. of Florence, OR; six grandchildren and and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Marilyn Beasley.

Sam worked at Caterpillar Inc. until his retirement in 1997.

He is a Navy Veteran that was in the reserves until 1993.

Sam was a member of the Joseph Robbins Masonic Lodge # 930.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

A graveside service will be held at Lancaster Cemetery in Glasford on May 12, 2018 at 11:00 am. Pastor Jack Thompson will officiate.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate.
