

Born August 4, 1967 to James and Phyllis Ann (Ales) Harmon, he married Beth (Fengel) on May 2, 2015 in Pekin. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother; two daughters, Kassandra (Joshua) Neltner and Kristin (Brett) Knotts, both of Pekin; two step-daughters, Amanda Grove of Canton and Megan Grove of Pekin; six grandchildren, Layne, Blake, Lillian, Keelie, Kohen and Kayci; five step-grandchildren, Jacob, Emma, Kyndal, Graysen and Kaydence; eight great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Charlie (Amber) Harmon of Eureka, Sara (Jeffery) Frank of Alabama, Mary Hill of Pekin, Timothy (Susan) Hill of Manito, Thomas Hill of Manito, Terry (Cindy) Hill of Forest City.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Harmon; his step-father, Paul Hill, Jr., and one brother, James “Jim” Harmon.
Sandy was a life member and Past Master of Joseph Robbins Lodge 930, Ancient Free & Accepted Masons in Bartonville.
A laborer, Sandy worked at Hoerr Construction for 20 years.
Sandy was a man's man and friend to all who met him. He loved the Chicago Bears, tinkering in the garage, and deer and mushroom hunting. He especially cherished the time he spent with his wife and family. Sandy was a generous and giving person who was always there to lend a helping hand whenever someone was in need.
His memorial visitation will be held from 1:30 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 4. 2025 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. A masonic service will be held at 3 p.m. with a memorial service following. Pastor Judy Doyle will officiate.
