Sondra M Minton

Born September 15, 1971 in Peoria to Steve and Vicki L. (Mustain) Robinson, she married Neal Minton on March 22, 1996 in Pekin.  He survives.

Also surviving are her mother and step-father, Vicki and Don Tassart of Pekin; her father and step-mother, Steve and Sandy Robinson of Columbia, Tennessee; three sons, Alec Minton and Joey Minton, both of Peoria and Seth Minton of Creve Coeur; one daughter, Autumn Klaskin of Pekin; four brothers, Shane (Stephanie) Tassart of Burbank, California, Shannon (Michelle) Tassart of Nashville, Tennessee, Shandal (Christi) Tassart of Pekin and Drew Robinson of Columbia, Tennessee; one sister, Christina Christenberry of Pekin; and grandparents, Bob and Phyllis Mustain of Pekin, Kay Cook of Pekin, and Bessie Ann Robinson of La Grange, Kentucky.She was of the Christian faith and formerly attended Pekin First Church of the Nazarene.A homemaker, Sondra had worked as a waitress at Cobbler Corner in Pekin for several years. She loved being a mom.  She enjoyed swimming, riding on her dad’s motorcycle, and gardening.  She also loved sports, especially the Chicago Bears and New York Giants football teams.Her funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 28, 2010 at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.  Pastor Lloyd Brock will officiate.  Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.  Cremation will be accorded following the funeral.

Memorial contributions may be given to an educational fund for her children.
