He had many jobs throughout his life from the railroad to the car wash. He worked as a painter of mostly Caterpillar, Inc. offices in his final years. He took great pride in his work with a reputation to suit.
Dad loved everything about the outdoors. You could find him anywhere from hiking in the woods to kayaking the Gasconade with his kids and grandkids. His happiness was found camping out at the Shabin with the family or just sitting on a river bank in the sunshine. He loved driving around just to appreciate nature and the beauty of it all.
He was his mother’s best friend, he was an amazing dad, and he was a great friend and relative.
He had the best smile, the corniest dad jokes, and gave the most amazing hugs.
