

Born April 25, 1919 in Hartselle, Alabama to William E. and Cora (Thompson) Prince, she married Lon Dean Reno on March 18, 1939 in Decatur, Alabama. Her husband, one son, one daughter and ten brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Mary (Cecil) Ball of Pekin; two sons, Jim Reno of Decatur, Nebraska and Johnnie Reno of Peoria; sixteen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ethelene Goodwin of Birmingham, Alabama and Pearl Tapscot of Falkville, Alabama.
Susan was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Hartselle, Alabama.
She had been a cook for Wallace College in Alabama for many years.
Susan enjoyed fishing, swimming, playing the guitar and piano and singing. She loved to cook for her grandchildren. She treasured time spent with family.
Cremation rites will be accorded. Burial of ashes will be at a later date. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin is in charge of arrangements.
