

Born June 25, 1929 in Pocahontas, Arkansas to Hershel and Opal (Lewis) England, he married Jean Elliott on May 27, 1950 in Salem, Arkansas. She survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Keith (Linda Firnberg) England of Seattle, Washington, Roger (Rose) England of Rohnert Park, California and Kevin (Diane) England of Mansfield, Texas; five grandchildren, Beth (Paul) Cucinotta, Stacy (Mark) Harrington, Erika England, Michael (Sydney) England and Alex England; one sister, Shirley; and three brothers, Bob, Gene and Glen.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and one brother.
Thomas had worked for Sommer Products in Bartonville for 37 years and had served in many different positions.
He loved hunting and fishing. He also had volunteered a lot of time with the Boy Scouts and other various youth programs.
Thomas' graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Glendale Memorial Gardens Chapel of Dreams in Pekin, where military honors will be provided by the United States Army and the Tazewell Area Ceremonial Team. Rev. Betty Hornback will officiate. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin is assisting the family with arrangements.
