He was born December 29, 1956 in Mt. Vernon to Gene and Donna (Belmount) Solomon.
Surviving are 2 sons, Thomas Solomon, Jr. of East Peoria, David Solomon of Witchita, Kansas; 1 daughter, Nicole Solomon of Morton; 3 grandchildren, Lily, Ruby, and Violet; and 1 brother, Dennis Solomon of East Peoria.
Tom was preceded in death by his grandparents; and his parents.
He had worked for Key Industries in East Peoria as a printing press operator for 24 years.
Tom was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Bears, and NASCAR.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Preston–Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. Rev Steve Weber will officiate. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the funeral
