

Born July 18, 1933 in Peoria County to Thomas and Florence (Blackaby) Wyatt, he married Evelyn N. Bruce on January 13, 1956 at First United Methodist Church in Bartonville. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Dennis (Marla) Wyatt of East Peoria and David (Lynn) Wyatt of Manito; three grandchildren, Stefanie Wyatt of East Peoria, Tonya Wyatt of Pekin and Heather Wyatt of Manito; one brother, James R. (Patsy) Wyatt of Creve Coeur and one sister, Ruth Lierle of Creve Coeur.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Wyatt and Florence Draher and one daughter, Deborah Ann Wyatt on February 16, 2005 in Peoria.
Tom served in the United States Navy during the Korean War and completed two tours aboard the USS Boyd.
He worked at Keystone Steel & Wire Company in Bartonville for 33 years, retiring in 1988.
Tom was very family orientated and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He will be remembered as a loving husband who enjoyed camping and fishing. He was a member of William Schaefer American Legion Post 44 in Pekin.
He was of the Protestant faith.
His graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, October 18, 2013 at Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin. The Rev. Judy Doyle will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
