

Born July 20, 1959 in Canton to Kenneth and Dorothy (Owens ) Sheff, he married Carla Seelye in 1986 in Dallas, Texas. They later divorced.
Surviving are two daughters, Monique Sheff of Pekin and Jennifer McGlothlin of Texas; one son, Christopher Sheff of Pekin; five grandchildren, Parish Sheff, Kanye Tyler, Cody Sheff, Makya Sheff and Adelyn Carter; seven siblings, Robert (Jeanie) Sheff and Jody Sheff, both of Spring Lake, Leonard (Yoshiko) Sheff of California, Dexter (Connie) Sheff of Florida, Shane (Courtney) Sheff of Texas, Cindy Stoehr of Pekin and Melinda (Albert) Landry of Loiusiana and his dog D.G. Also surviving his best friend of 15 years, Kenny Ince.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Timothy Philip Sheff; three grandchildren, Neveah Tyler, Savannah Sheff, Krislyn Sheff; and two brothers, infant, Ariden Sheff Kennard Sheff.
Tim was a veteran of the United States Army.
He worked as a machinist for 40 years, last working Tuesday at Engineering Design & Development in Morton.
A jokester, Tim was good working with his hands, where he enjoyed working on cars and putting together models. He also enjoyed horseback riding and had a love for animals.
Tim never met a stranger and had great fondness for his family and friends.
A cookout celebrating Tim’s life will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 13th at Bob and Jeanie Sheff’s home, located at 2698 Marjorie Lane in Manito. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
