

Born September 20, 1932 in Tokyo, Japan to Eizabaro and Ushino (Shojr) Otsuki, she married Arthur Leslie Craig on June 11, 1954 at the American Embassy in Tokyo, Japan. He died December 16, 2002 in Pekin. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jimmy Craig; one grandson, B.J. Short, III; three sisters; and one brother.
Surviving are three sons, John (Penny) Craig of Wyanet, Patrick (Martha) Craig of Charleston, MO, and Mark (Kim) Craig of Pekin; one daughter, Charlotte (Carl Gibbs, "The Boy") Craig of Pekin; five grandchildren, Kiyomi Craig, Renata Craig, Jaci Craig, Mark Craig, Jr., and Brandie Odell; and seven great-grandchildren.
Tomii had worked at Hiram Walker and Sons in Peoria for 13 years as a machine operator, retiring in 1979.
She was a life member of the George Maple Memorial AMVETS Post #235 Ladies Auxiliary in Pekin, where she had been a bingo volunteer.
Tomii was a very energetic, outgoing, and full of life person who loved her family and grandchildren. In past years, she enjoyed playing bingo, line dancing, and bowling.
There will be a private gathering celebrating her life. Private burial will be at Trinity Cemetery in Bono, Arkansas at a later date.
