Offering a note in respectful remembrance of Tu Van Ngo on this anniversary of his passing.  He will always be remembered as a good man, devoted to his family, with a smile for everyone.  May he rest in peace in the afterlife.

We are so very sorry about the loss of Tu.  We met and knew him from karate classes where Thong and our son, Chris, took lessons.  We always enjoyed talking with him and the times we shared with our sons.  May your precious memories of him bring all of you comfort and peace.

Condolences to the family. Tu Ngo was a very nice man, so friendly to all the shoppers at Kroger. His smile was contagious...enjoyed brief conversations with him.....

He was an honorable man who managed to succeed despite the many hardships he and Duyen endured.  We hope the many memories you shared and great times spent with him will comfort all of you in the days ahead. 

My daughter went to school with Thong and they became friends 
One time I took them to wild Life Prairie park, Thong loved it, it was a fun day with the two kids
Thong introduced my daughter and I to his parents before they allowed him to go to the park with us, they were so nice,.
His mother made the  best egg rolls for us for taking him with us
His father was such a hard worker and always had a smile , Nice man who will be missed by many
My prayers for Thong, his mother and the family during this most difficult time . May God give you strength an comfort. 

So sorry to hear this. Tu was a wonderful neighbor, and friend! Always so friendly! He even taught my youngest son, Jonah, a little karate in the backyard! Rip

I met the NGO family when the children came to Willow School. It was so rewarding to work with both Thong & Tammy because they were willing to work hard to learn English so they would become a part of the American dream.  The entire family appreciated being a part of a free country.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I was Thong’s 4th grade teacher when you arrived in the
United States and later Oahn’s.  I was so impressed by your beautiful family.  You were resilient and so focused on helping your children transition to the states and get a good education. They were a pleasure to teach.  I enjoyed running into Mr. Ngo at Kroger and getting the family update.  I’m sure he will be missed.


Tu was a wonderful, loving devoted man. I remember when your family first came to Pekin. His first need was to find a job to support you. He could only speak very little English so when he couldn’t come up with words, we would try French. He was afraid of any authority figures in the beginning. I did my best to help with language skills but it was always a struggle for him. He wanted so badly for you children to get a good education and be successful in your careers. You have made him proud. I’ll never forget the happy day he became a US citizen! He worked so hard to fill out those application papers. Many happy times! I know you’ll miss him ❤️

Prayers for comfort and peace in the days ahead.  He will be missed.

I was just thinking of Tu and wondering how he was. So sorry to hear of his passing. I worked at Kroger with Tu and loved his smile and his hugs. Prayers for peace to all the family.
