Veronica Lynn Lemons

Born March 18, 1959 in Pekin, she was a daughter of Clifford Neal and Rosie Mae (Barnard) Lemons. Her parents preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Misty Dawn Taylor.

Surviving are her husband, John Stasz of Creve Coeur; one son, Miles Arthur Taylor of Creve Coeur; her sister, Valorie Look of Pekin; one niece, Jennifer (Corey) Gardner of Pekin; one nephew, Brent Allen Look and four great-nieces and nephews, Kyleigh Gardner, Lainey Gardner, Hunter Gardner and Parker Look.

Veronica was a seamstress for over 20 years and an active gardener and canner. She truly had a green thumb. She was an animal lover and breeder and raised dachshunds for many years. She loved camping and enjoyed fishing, especially with her dad. Veronica was a former Girl Scout troop leader.

She was a Christian.

Her memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Steve Weber will officiate. There will be no visitation. Inurnment will follow the memorial service at Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
