Vicky L Block

Born May 27, 1957 in Peoria to Robert L. and Dolores Davis, she married Donald A. Block on October 8, 1994 in East Peoria.  He survives.

Also surviving are her mother Dolores of Pekin; four sons, William Mallicoat of Pekin, Jason (Amanda) Mallicoat of Springfield, Jesse Mallicoat and Donald Block, both of East Peoria; six grandchildren; four brothers, Bob Davis, Chuck Zentko, Tony Zentko and Joey Zentko; four sisters, Barb Davis, Bonnie Zentko, Stephanie Zentko and Tammy Zentko.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Vicky had worked as an LPN and EMT for several hospitals and nursing homes in the Peoria, Missouri and Arizona areas.

A faithful and giving person, Vicky loved spending time with her family and animals.  She also enjoyed fishing, cooking, crocheting and reading.

Her memorial service will be at 6:30 p.m., Monday, March 17, 2014 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in East Peoria.  Pastor Zach Hoffman with officiate. Visitation will be from 6 until 6:30 p.m. at the church.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.
