William E Roach

Born October 21, 1930 in Belgrade, Missouri to Ernest Eugene and Hattie Estelle (Akers) Roach, he married Diana Gray Jackson on January 25, 1963 in Paris, Tennessee. She survives.

Also surviving are his wife; three sons, Patrick G. Roach of Groveland, and Kelly (Lori) Roach and Dan Roach, both of Mesa, Arizona; three daughters, Megan E. (Brian) Beecham of Pekin, and Chris (David) Tynes and Sherry (David) Cavanagh, both of Tucson, Arizona; eleven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one brother, Robert (Rose) Roach of St. Charles, Missouri; and one sister, Wilma (Jim) Bennett of Florissant, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson.

Bill had worked at Komatsu in Peoria as a design engineer and had previously worked for McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis, Missouri.

He served in the United StatesNavy.

His funeral will beat 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 2006at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel, where visitation will be one hour before the funeral. The Rev. Rodger P. Abatie will officiate.Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
