Angelica Rochelle Cooley

Angelica Rochelle Cooley was born November 22, 1985, to the union of Robert and Hattie Laverne Hampton Cooley in Frankfurt, Germany while both were serving in the United States Army. She departed life on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.

She joined Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Georgia in 2002. She graduated high school in 2004. She enjoyed going to Sunday School, singing in the school choir, playing several instruments, and being with family and friends.

Angelica leaves to cherish her memories, her devoted parents, Robert and Hattie Cooley of Birmingham, AL, her Maternal Aunt, Letha (Lisa) Hampton Alexander of Kentwood, LA, Aunts; Josephine Hampton Brown of Kentwood, LA, Kathryn (Jackie) Hampton of Austin, TX, Arlene Wilkerson of Kentwood, LA, Alice Wright of Charleston, SC, and an Uncle, Welch Hampton Jr., of Kentwood, LA, devoted cousin Dana Brown of Austin, TX, a Maternal Aunt/Grandmother, Gwendolyn Piper Turner of New Orleans, LA; 2 Great Uncles, 1 Great Aunt, 1 God Brother (Tony Watson), 2 God Sisters (Dawn Alexander and DaShauna Hampton), and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Angelica Rochelle Cooley will be held at Brown Chapel Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 11:00 am. Reverend Lafayette Funches, Pastor, officiating.
