

She was born on September 25, 1953, in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Betty graduated from Mount Vernon Township High School where she was a cheerleader and earned an associate's degree from Rend Lake Junior College. She went on to build a career as a systems analyst with McDonnell Douglas and Ralston Purina, where her dedication and skill left a lasting mark. During the early years of her marriage, she specialized in transportation sales. After her sons were born, she became a part time teacher at a private school.
On July 25, 1986, she married Steven Faulk, with whom she shared a loving partnership and family life. Betty's greatest devotion was to her family, especially her two sons, who were the pride and joy of her life. She also found deep meaning in her church community and expressed her lifelong passion through music, particularly the violin where she was skilled.
She is survived by her sons, Ford Andrew Faulk and Alexander Payton Faulk; her siblings, Terry Quinn (Bender), Machelle Cates (Morgan), and Paul Morgan; as well as extended family and friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Raymond Stewart and Michael Morgan.
Betty will be remembered for her warmth, faith, and unwavering love for her family. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the music she cherished. The family will a private graveside in her honor.
