BILLY SMITH WYNN
Bill was born September 28, 1930 in Birmingham, Alabama. After graduating from West End High School in 1949, he joined the U.S. Navy. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Bill passed away at age 92 on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. He is survived by his son, Larry (Beverly); daughter, Lisa (David); grandchildren, Elizabeth (Adam), Rachel (Taylor), and Natalie; and great-grandchildren, Savannah, Beau, and Bennett.
Bill is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Hyde Wynn, with whom he enjoyed 50 years of marriage.
A celebration of Bill's life will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. with the service to follow at 3 p.m. at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama.
Bill was an inspiration to those he loved and brought joy and happiness to everyone he touched.
