Brenda Long, 64 of Hoover, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2017. Brenda was originally from Orlando, Florida and was a member of Church of the Highlands. She loved gardening, being outdoors, and her 3 grandchildren: Jon, Jack and Eden.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lafay Flook and Charles Long; and brothers, Tony E. Long and Richard B. Flook, Jr. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Erika Jobes (Jon K.) and Erin Virciglio; grandchildren, Jon Charles Jobes, Jack Kenneth Jobes and Eden Elizabeth Virciglio; sisters, Rheba Kiker (Gary) and Sharron Khlan; and cousins, Bonnie Todd and Charlene Clouchete Thibedeau.
A gathering to celebrate Brenda’s life will be from 2pm until 5pm on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the home of Jon and Erika Jobes. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to The Foundry Ministries.
