He is now watching over his beautiful wife and soulmate of twenty-seven years, Pam Sutton; his only daughter, Ann Charles Sutton; his beloved sister, Christie Davis (spouse, Scott Davis); his brother-in-law, Charles David Middleton Jr. (spouse, Pam Middleton); his mothers-in-law, Annie Middleton and Lillie Middleton; and his seven adoring nieces and nephews, Ansley, Allie, Austin, Alex, Maegan, Josh, and Sara. He has reunited with his dear mother, father, and father-in-law, Priscilla Farmer Sutton, John Michael Sutton, and Charles David Middleton.
Although we are absolutely heartbroken by his unexpected passing, we acknowledge how blessed we are to have had a man like Brett in our lives. As his loving spirit radiated warmth and gentleness, his grand heart touched the lives of everyone who was lucky enough to have crossed paths with him.
Brett was a lover-of-life. He loved all things involving chicken wings and tailgating for the Auburn Tigers. A hardworking individual who valued his family deeply, Brett was a devoted and nurturing father, husband, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He was a salesman and part-owner of his innovative company, ChemStation Alabama, where he won the President's Award for Sales Excellence for the past fourteen years. In his honor, this award will now be called the Brett Sutton Award.
To know Brett was to love him. Living under his guidance and support has been the greatest honor of our lives.
