

Brian Kristopher Boyd, age 33, of Montevallo, AL, passed away Sunday afternoon, September 18, 2016. He was a strong, smart, and hardworking man who loved his family. Playing with his kids was his passion.
Brian was a welder who rebuilt classic cars and hot rods. He was a lover of music and a die hard Alabama football fan. He had the brightest blue eyes and the biggest smile that could make you melt. He was loved by many!
Brian was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Annie Ruth Boyd and Betty Scyoc; grandfathers, Fred Boyd and Francis Scyoc; and a brother, Vernon Lee Boyd, II. Survivors include Brian's wife, Amber Boyd; his parents, Vernon and Fran Boyd; daughter, Marlee Ann Boyd, age 5; son, Tucker Franklin Boyd, age 4; sister, Renee Decker (Shawn); two brothers-in-law, Joey Rivers (Kristy) and Nicholas White (Molly); niece, Shawna Decker; nephews, Christian Decker, and Luke and Jack White; mother- and father-in-law, Susan and Steve White; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and beloved friends.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, AL, immediately followed by the 11 a.m. celebration of Brian's life in Ridout's Southern Heritage Chapel, Pelham. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Gardens in Tuscaloosa, AL. Damien Gaiters and Pastor James Simpson will officiate.
