Len spent his early years in Metairie, Louisiana, then moved to Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, Buford Leonard Green, Jr., and Margaret Poe. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Karen Thomas Green; two children, Joey Green and Shannon Rich; daughter-in-law, Kannika Green; son-in-law, Ken Rich; two step-sons, Brian Busenlehner and Jeremy Busenlehner; and nine grandchildren.
During his long, professional career in sales, Leonard worked at Millican RV in Cullman, Alabama. In his leisure, he loved spending time with his grandchildren, who affectionately called him "Big Daddy." He will be missed.
Visitation will be at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 6-7 p.m., followed by A Service of Remembrance for Len Green at 7 p.m. Ridout's Southern Heritage is located at 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124.
