Carol Thomas Odom went home to be with the Lord on March 27, 2016. She was born March 30, 1959 in Birmingham, AL and was a graduate of Samford University. She was a dedicated member of Lakeside Baptist Church where she taught 3rd grade Sunday School and worked with Children’s Choirs for over 20 years.
She was predeceased by her parents John N. Thomas and Jimmie R. Thomas. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, R. Jeffery Odom; her sons, Phillip J. Odom and Christopher T. Odom of Birmingham, AL; her brother J. Neal Thomas of Hanceville, AL
A celebration of life service will be Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 1:00pm at Lakeside Baptist Church. Visitation will be 11:00 – 1:00 preceding the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakeside Baptist Church Children’s Ministry or Music Ministry.
