Casey Nicole Kizer, age 17, of Hoover, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018. She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Leon Kizer, Sr., and grandparents, Joe Oliver Kizer and Audrey Kate Kizer. Survivors include her mother, Leisa Kizer and step-father, Don Lilly; sister, Amanda Marefka (Alex); brothers, Andy Kizer (Crystal) and Brian Kizer (Claire); step-brother, Rob Lilly (Amanda); and step-sisters, Allison Lilly and Katie Lilly. She is also survived by her grandparents, Martha Bush (Neil) and Bobby Sewell (Alice), and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Casey was a graduate of Valleydale Christian Academy and previously attended Spain Park High School. She was looking forward to beginning her college career at UAB in the fall. She loved spending time with her dog, being outdoors at the lake and playing softball with her many friends she made through the years.
Her family will receive friends Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, AL. Funeral services will be private for the family.
