Catherine S. Morin

She graduated from Immaculate Conception School and Brookville Area HS in Brookville, PA and has a BS in Nursing from Villa Maria College, Erie, PA. She was an Army Nurse at Ft. Sam Houston, TX for 2 years. She worked as a nurse in Atlanta, GA, Chattanooga, TN and Birmingham, AL. She was active in many church, school and neighborhood organizations. Ree loved to travel, hike, boat and enter her mother's family history collection into the computer - and adding to it.

She married Raymond Armand Morin on January 29, 1967, in Brookville, PA. They are the parents of four sons: Michael A. Morin (Julie Tischendorf) of Chesapeake, VA; Brian P. Morin (Julie O'Hara) of Birmingham, AL; Kevin P. Morin of Birmingham, AL; and Aaron S. Morin (Laura Ritch) of Foley, AL. They have six grandchildren: Samantha Keyes (Justin Keyes), Rebecca Delbridge (Cody Delbridge) and Jessica Morin of Chesapeake, VA; Gabe (Adri

Rios) and Grace Morin of Foley, AL: and Connor Morin of Birmingham, AL. They also have five great grandchildren. She is survived by two brothers, Daniel J. Shannon (Peg) of Denver, CO and Paul Shannon Jr. (Linda Kay) of Harrisburg, PA.

Catherine's life was defined by her deep love for family, church, and her devotion to caring for others. Those who knew her will carry forward her kindness, her curiosity, and her unwavering spirit. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy lives on in the generations she nurtured, the friendships she cherished, and the countless lives she touched with compassion and grace. May her memory continue to bring comfort and light to all who loved her.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
