Cathy Jones Webster

Cathy Jones Webster was a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and friend who passed away February 8, 2017 at home. Cathy enjoyed spending quality time with her family and close friends. She also enjoyed trips to the beach and watching her son play baseball. She is best described as extremely dependable, thoughtful, self-less, and strong. She was also a two-time cancer survivor. Cathy grew up in Vestavia Hills, AL and lived in Helena and Hoover, AL with her husband and children. She always put her family first and had a contagious smile that constantly brightened those around her.

Cathy is preceded in death by her father, Walter Jones (Nanette). She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, David Webster; son, Jonathan Webster (Kip); daughters, Melanie Littlefield (Brian) and Lauren Adams (Brandon); granddaughter, Sydney Webster; mother, Ann Hines (Leonard, dec.); brothers, David Jones (Betty) and Mike Jones (Shellie); and sister, Susan Horn (Charles).

Visitation will be held to celebrate the life of Cathy Jones Webster for family and friends at Southcrest Baptist Church in the Family Life Center on Friday, February 10th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. The family has designated the American Cancer Society for memorial contributions.
