He attended Fairfield High School and in 1959 he joined the US Marine Corp and was stationed at Camp LeJeune, in North Carolina. In 1964, he re-enlisted in the US Army and served a tour in the Vietnam war.
As a civilian he was a coal miner for Drummond coal company. He is preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Nancy M. Reynolds. He is survived by his children, Deborah R. Justice, Charles T. Reynolds Jr., Traci F. Reynolds and Melissa R. Kelley. His celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 7th 2020, at 10:00 graveside at Southern Heritage Cemetery in Pelham, Al.
